Research On The Development Situation And Countermeasures Of Community Education In Jiangxi Province

The 21st century is a life-long learning century. Nowadays, as the important partof the life-long education system, community education plays the more and moreimportant role in the process of realizing learning-based society and promoting everypeople. JiangXi is the one of the least developed provinces in our county. Theresearches and practices on community education began later. But the report for the16th convention of CPC made clear and definited the aim of constructing life-longeducation system and thus overalls building comfortable society. From then on,under the effort of all circles, the development of community education in ourprovince has gradually taken normal steps. Even now, lots of problems exist incommunity education such as deficiency of full time teaching staff; senility educatee,focus on pastime teaching content, simplex instructional methods. These are on thefoundation of diagnoses and cases study on ZhangGong area in GanZhou city,JianSheqiao community and XiangShan community of XiHu area in NanChang city.At the same time, developing community education in our province is confrontedwith many challenges, such as combining the school-community's, developingcommunity education between cities and villages, senior education and communityeducational outlay, and so forth. Based on the research results mentioned above, thethesis proposes corresponding countermeasures: reinforcing researches on theory,fulfilling basal establishment, empoldering courses for community education andestablishing community educational evaluation system.
