Leisure is an embodiment of human civilization and a signalof social development. This thesis, basedon the knowledge of philosophy, sociology, culturology andanthropology etc, discusses promoting function of informationtechnology on human leisure style. Not only the informationtechnology arrival caused human's intelligence and the physicalstrength has obtained the omni-directional liberation, but alsoadvanced human's leisure a new boundary, while new web stylemanners make a breakthrough towards traditional ways dependingon its own unique characteristic and present its features in a moreindividualized and person-need-oriented way. It is a good points to make a literature reviewbased on the prior research findings so that we can expound thequestions and use for reference in a better way. In addition,it maylay stress on the innovation aspects. Part Two is the theory partwhich mainly introduce the definition of leisure, basic character anddifferent understandings due to the different views from differentscholar, it is necessary to make a clear definition to the word of"leisure" for the sake of discussion. Part Three discusses theinfluence on scientific development in pre-information society onpeople's leisure mode. the situation, from an integrated whole of leisure and work to discrete features of them, results from scientificdevelopment. Part Four lays emphasis on expounding the coretechnology of information society——information technologyproduced new web leisure mode. the occurrence of cyber-spacebring a new concept to human leisure style and create a variety ofmodes being of significance and uniqueness in a deep and broadsense., which lack in traditional mode.
