Professionalization is the main trend of basketball development in current. As animportant progress of reformation, the naissance of CBA in 1995 indicates that thedevelopment of basketball in China is entering a new phase. CBA not only havedeveloped in scale, general adoption of market principle, but also brought up three greatcenters for the basketball paradise—NBA, after 11 years' forging.In methods of literature study, investigation, statistics, and logical analysis, thisdissertation explored CBA professional league from perspectives of communication andpublic relations. It described and analyzed the development process of basketball in CBA,and the communication mode, environment, content, communicator, audience and mediaof CBA professional league. The interaction of CBA, the communicator, the audience,and the sponsor also been analyzed. In order to stand CBA professional league from allaspects, theory of culturology, sociology, marketing, and psychology has been used in thisdissertation. The result shows that only all communication factors of CBA professionalleague interact coordinately, can CBA professional run effectively.
