The research offers a theory proof for the intension and extension of the views ofteaching values for Physics teachers in senior middle school, based on the newcurriculum background and multi-oriented teaching values. It contains three dimensions:the test education orientation which is based on the test result, the science inquiryorientation which is based on the course,method and ability, the human scienceorientation which is based on emotion,knowledge and skill.Then, according to our theory we design the 'the Physics teachers' views of teachingvalues questionnaire for senior middle school "basing on opening questionnaireinvestigating and visiting to the interrelated persons, and then do the preparing testing ofit and analyze its structure, validity and reliability. The result shows that thequestionnaire has good reliability and validity.At last, we do the research among the senior middle school Physics teachers in FujianProvince on the views of teaching values with our questionnaire and get the conclusions:(1) The teaching value orientation of physics teachers in senior middle school basicallyagrees with the require of new curriculum. The combination of science inquiryorientation and human science orientation is popular, however, there still exists testeducation orientation. And as a result, the qualitative education and test educationcohabits. (2) The male and female Physics teachers in senior middle school aresignificant different on the test education orientation: female teachers are better than maleteachers. But there are no differences between male and female teachers on otherdimensions and the whole views of value. (3) The views of teaching values of physicsteachers in senior middle school are not significant different for the title of a technicalpost. The level of the views of teaching values doesn't rise because of the increasing ofthe teaching years. (4) The Physics teachers in senior middle school from different citiesand regions are significant different on the test education orientation. The teachers fromcountryside have a significantly higher test education tendency than those from city andtown. The teachers from the West of Fujian have a significantly higher test educationtendency than those from the East of Fujian and the South of Fujian. (5) The views ofteaching values of the Physics teachers in senior middle school are not significant fordifferent kinds of school. The school advantages can not been seen on the teachers' viewsof teaching values. (6) The views of teaching values of physics teachers of differentgrades in senior middle school are not significant different.
