A Study Into The Leisure Life Of University Students And Its Optimization Measures

Since the 1990s, owing to the two reforms of the man-hour system in ourcountry, the regular time when the university students attend classes has been obviously reduced, and correspondingly their time of leisure increased gradually. Besides, the university students are at a transitional stage, when there exists blindness and one-sidedness in their leisure life. If they are not guided properly as to how to spend their leisure time, their leisure life, almost unrestrained and less controllable, will become the "vacuum" of moral education, which will turn out to be. the negative forces in the development of university students' overall abilities. In view of the above-mentioned reasons, the thesis, based on Marxist theory about leisure, highlights its positive function by means of linking up the leisure life of university students with the development of their overall abilities, the social construction of ideological infrastrncture on campus and the construction of the harmonious campus. Furthermore, having investigated the recent situation of university students' leisure life, the thesis attempts to forecast its development trend and summarize its main problems and reasons. Last but not least, the thesis puts forward a couple of feasible optimization measures from the angle Of society, family, university and students themselves.
