Study Of WebLog's Application In Teaching And Learning Of Technical And Vocational Education

Nowadays, it has become a critical task for the reformation ofTechnical and Vocational Education(TVE) to promote teachers'professional development, cultivate students' faculties and boost teachingquality of TVE. The technique, function and conception of WebLog happento have the same view with the theories of modern education, as well as thedevelopment needs of TVE. It not only provides an approach for teachersand students in those TVE colleges to obtain further development, but alsoensures a healthy development of TVE.First of all, the author makes use of related theories to analyze thecharacteristics of WebLog and teaching and learning of TVE whichprovides academic supports for the application of WebLog in the area ofTVE. Then, the author points out that application of WebLog in the TVEarea will accelerate development of teachers and students, enhance thequality of teaching and learning, harmonize the teaching ambience andenrich the education resources. Moreover, based on the analysis of WebLog's usage in current TVE area in China, a lot of abuses andshortcomings are found. Furthermore, the essay analyses the phenomenaand causations of those abuses and shortcomings to find out the points forfurther upswing. In addition, according to the successful experiences ofWebLog adoption in both domestic and international, methods ofimprovement are put forward from several aspects, such as technology,application, criterion, mentality, and so on. Finally, some advices are givento bloggers to improve their performances.The study proves that it is feasible to promote the development ofteachers and students and the healthy development of TVE throughapplying WebLog in the teaching and learning area of TVE. While theapplication of WebLog in the teaching and learning area of TVE still havemany problems. However, with collective efforts and unceasing exploration,it will become more popular and be a critical communicational teachingmanner and learning style.
