The Research And Design For Personalized Learning Based On Weblog In The Modern Distance Education

Modern distance education is a new way of education by the combined effect of the modern information technology and contemporary social needs. The governments of the world have attached great importance to the development of modern distance education and as an important ways of higher education for popular education, continuing education and lifelong learning. In a few short years, our country has had a tremendous modern distance education system.There were many problems with the rapid development of modern distance education in our country, especially in the teaching process controls, the interaction of teaching process, teachers and students how to adapt to it and improve the quality and so on. On the other hand for education, since beginning, it has been pursuing the educational mode of personalized learning, the principle of learning varying for different learners and the interaction between the learners and the teachers and the learners themselves. Student-centered and autonomous learning has been regarded as an important goal of all-round education and lifelong education.Facts have proved that having an important reason why these problems can not be solved in modern distance education, because it does not utilize the new information technology. With the rapid development of information technology, various kinds learning resources, learning technology, learning concepts are burst out and the field of education is experiencing an unprecedented transformation. Therefore, we must take full advantage of modern information technology and resources to learn.Interaction is important deciding factor of modern distance education. Modern distance instructional model is an interactive self-instruction one and will be the mainstream model in the future. The choice and application of interactive way is a key composition of instructional design, which requests the collaboration of instructors and courseware designers. The new interactive technology will impulses the transformation of interactive ways and strengthens the interactivity.However now, because the social and practical reason, the modern distance education model is a simplex pattern, students cannot learn according to their needs, their control, their monitoring and to reflect on their own learning process actively. Wecan see from other sense, the modern distance education is two-way communication activities for learning resources by teachers and students, which is the common of education. Compared with traditional education, the great advantages of the education based on network is interactive teaching, it will be achieved by means of a multi-scene, multi-element, multi-genre, multi-format and leaping over limitations of the time and space. For develop of personalized learning and web-based education must adopt advanced information technology and use modern media technology to finish distance learning.The feature of weblog is consistent with the requirements of distance education and will emerge from numerous technologies for its rich content and easy to stimulate students to learn. We can write diary and comments by weblog. It can solve some of the problem above by its course records, exchanges of emotional and intellectual, teaching reflections, knowledge management, the home page for individual and so on.My research begins from blog theory, distance education theory, learning theory, psychology theory, software design and development theory and related theory. Then, designing and finished the weblog learning platform for personalized learning, enhancing distance learning process control, enhancing distance learners information skills and capacity, solve problems above and improve the quality of modern distance education effectively.The ultimate goal of this research is to build a new personalized learning model of modern distance education by the weblog technology in the web-based education, proposed the direction of modern distance education in the future, improve the quality of distance education and achieve education for people finally.
