Vocational And Technical Education System And Its Countermeasures

Higher vocational and technical education as an important branch of higher education,with its rapid developing trend, plays a very important role in promoting the development of economy, society, science, qualified personnel and education. Although the higher education of our country begins lately, it has made great progress. During the developing process, it is now in the stage of opening up, creating and exploring either from theory or practice. In this graduate paper, the author, through observing the present situation of the vocational education both from in and abroad, with the help of the successful experiment, explains the basic theory and puts forward the develoling direction and countermeasures. The author based on the situation of the Yunnan province, with Kunming Metallurgy College as a typical example, analyses it in great details in order to promote it developing steadily and lastingly.
