The phenomenon of school-choosing is a hot spot in the present elementary education field, on which there is no consensus of opinion inside and outside the educational world. This article take parents as research object, on the foundation of collect,reorganize,study the domestic and foreign existing achievements, through reviewing method, make investigation of school-choosing situation of the parents in Yancheng urban areas during the period of compulsory education. Their children soon or already faced the test from elementary school rises the junior middle school, as a part of the school-choosing army, they have the very deep feelings to school-choosing and their school-choosing behaviors have the certain representation.Through to these interviews, analyze the internal motives and exterior motives as well as the preparations to the school-choosing in current education organizational reform background, including let the children enter the key schools, study art special skills, develop relationship network and so on. On this foundation, utilized related sociological theory, the article has also analyzed the realistic school-choosing behaviors when the test truly approaches, including how they utilize their power capital, cultural capital, economical capital in the process of school-choosing, how to face children's psychological changes, how to develop relationship and the efforts the parents made to solve these difficulties.The article proposed some solutions to the problem of school-choosing and carried on some discussions to the paradox between school-choosing and education equality, emphasized the responsibility the government should take to realizing education equality, it can't be talked without government scientifically and reasonable education administration mechanism. In order to solve the problem of school-choosing, truly realize the education equality, the government must provide the institution on the mechanism to strengthen the equality advancement through strengthening the weak school, vigorously developing the people education, enlarging the education investment, standarding currently select school behavior and so on, realizing the education equality through multi ways and forms finally.
