This article is based on the methods of analyzing literature and statistical data. The article summarize the definition and sort of culture, discuss the relations between culture and teaching material and the significance and sort of culture in chemistry teaching material. The article also discusses the culture's effect to the functions of in chemistry teaching material, emphasizing the effect to the choices of in chemistry teaching material's content and to the framework of chemistry teaching material. The thesis is mostly made up of the following segments:1. The relations between culture and teaching materialTeaching material is the materialization of curriculum. Teaching material undertake the task to transfer culture. The contents of teaching material are the choices and promotions of culture, at the same time, teaching material embody the culture of social mainstream and national policies. In school's education, teaching material are not only the main implements and basic reference, but also the implements for teachers to transfer the culture and knowledge to students. The relations between cultures and teaching materials mainly present the following aspects: Culture is the sources to form teaching material: The traditions of culture influences the compilation of teaching material; The compilation of the teaching material reserves the elites of culture and deserts the flaws of the one; Teaching material are the important avenue to transfer culture; Teaching material are the important media of culture's innovation.2. The significance of culture in chemistry teaching materialThe chemistry teaching material integrated culture are beneficial to students to shape the proper philosophy of life, which make students experience the delights from the science inquiry, it also get the students known to protect resources and protect the environment and concern chemic problems associated with modem society, strengthening the students' responsibilities to nature and society. It also should foster the students the attitudes and spirits of science, making the students form the characters with diligence, fortitude, cooperation, love of science and etc.3. The culture's effects to the functions of in chemistry teaching materialThe chemistry teaching material integrated culture can carry out the idea of curriculum standard, which can change the teaching idea of teacher and students' learning styles, it also advance the students form value view of science. The innovative work of this article is sort of culture in chemistry teaching material and culture's effect to the choices of chemistry teaching material' content and to the framework of in chemistry teaching material:1. The sorts of culture in chemistry teaching materialThe chemistry teaching material's contents come from cultures, which is chance and distill of culture. Integrating the sorts of culture done by anthropologists and chemistry subject's characters, the culture in chemistry teaching material can be divided into language culture, science culture, technology culture, history culture, geography culture, art culture and moral culture.2.
