Following the incessant deepening of the reform of the basic course syllabi, the development of modern education raises new demands and new challenges to education administrators and pedagogues. The popularization of internet, the rise of social softwares, and the emerging of WEB2, 0 Era, propose a revolutionary moment for the modern educational technology. The rise of the Educational Blog, based on the wide spreading Blog, carrying with it a might potential, influeces the prospective of education. The Educational Blog has actively incorporated in it the core functions of Blog, RRS and Trackback. It has the characteristics of Zero Technology, individualization, coordination, mutualization and creates a new platform for the development of pedagogy. This article, based on a large amount of documents and investigations, attempts to explore the influence of the Educational Blog on pedagogy. The article first maps the field of the concept of Educational Blog. It introduces the current studies on the Educational Blog at home and abroad. After that it selects a number of typical Educational Blogs at the present stage so as to offer an analysis of the theoretical and practical function. The article analyses a group of questionnaires to offer an effect evaluation of the Educational Blog. The article arrives at the conclusion that Educational Blog, as a new form of the Information Technology, can exercise great influence on the development of pedagogy. Finally the article offers a perspective of the perspective of the promotion of the development of pedagogy by the Educational Blog.
