A Study On The Current Situation Of Exploitation And Utilization Of P.E. Curriculum Resource And Its Countermeasure In The Colleges And Universities In Anhui Province

Using cultural heritage data method, questionaire survey, Mathematical Statistics method and logic analysis method, the author carried on an investigating analysis of the present situation of exploitation and utilization of P.E. curriculum resources in colleges and universities of Anhui Province. We have found out the common problems that exist in P.E.curriculum resources in average colleges and universities of Anhui Province:(1)The P.E. teachers have due understanding about development and exploitation of P.E. curriculum resources. (2)The number of postgraduates among P.E. teachers increases fairly, however,compared with that in higher institutions of developed countriers, it is far behind. There are two reasons which lead to this result. One is the increasing workload of P.E teachers in colleges and universities.The other is that we are lack of funds.(3)Most P.E. teachers in colleges and universities of Anhui Province are majoring in some traditional sports. It is a universal phenomenon in Anhui Province that colleges and universities offer students P.E.courses which the present teachers could teach. (4)P.E.teachers think the social status of their occupation is not high. There are 27.8﹪teachers who are dissatisfied with their job,16.6﹪teachers very dissatisfied. (5)There are 4.1﹪P.E.teachers still put too much emphasis on teachers′authority, and ignore the students′enthusiasm and intiative .(6)The students who are good at sports help other students to do physical training. But this kind of"help"is lack of science mostly.(7)Most P.E. courses teach students technical ability knowledgs,short of amusement,health and theory knowledge that students need. Meanwhile,the P.E.teaching materials can not draw college students much attention.(8)Most colleges and universities are short of usual sports facilities and equipments. But there are 56﹪college students who owe personal sports equipments.(9)There are few facilities for P.E. publicity. And P.E. publicity is not enough.Among collee students,there are 15.6﹪ people who are dissatisfied with the P.E. situation .(10)P.E. courses are the main path through which college students abtain P.E.knowledge.Television, vedio, sports newspaper and magazines, computer network become another important way for students to get P.E. knowledge. (11)Because of some P.E. teachers′inherent misconceptions, the natural geography resources can not be effectively converted to the resources used in accual P.E.classes.(12)The funds of P.E.are mostly from the budget of colleges and universities. Moreover, the funds are mainly used in adding P.E.facilities, playground construction and maintenance.Be aimed at problems mentioned above, the author forward some ideas and countermeasures about exploitment and utilization of P.E.curriculum resources in colleges and universities in Anhui Province.
