In informationization society, make use of IT to enhance quality and efficiency of education , train high quality talented person of all kinds especially informationization talented person, has become the important constituent which the various countries education reforms and develops. The international discussion points out that not only the information literacy becomes currently an important target that appraises synthetical quality of the talented person, moreover becomes each member's basic survivability in the information ages. At present in our country about the quality research material of P.E. teachers mostly concentrates in the specialized quality, the thought quality, the scientific cultural quality, the innovation quality and so on, is extremely scarce about the research material of information quality of physical education teacher. Heilongjiang Province, which has more than 25 colleges and universities that is not physical education profession to conduct research on the information literacy of physical education teacher is scanty. So I take the Heilongjiang Province colleges and universities as research object, making use of various researches method from the different angle, for the current situation of their information literacy to conduct an investigation and research for the current situation of information literacy, factors and how to develop. The purpose is improving the information literacy of physical education teacher in Heilongjiang Province and providing a theoretical basis and reference information.The research results showed:Firstly, the team of colleges and universities P.E. teachers in the Heilongjiang Province is younger, and the high-level title proportion is higher than the stipulation proportion. But above educational background in Master's graduate student ratio 9.3% and the proportion is lower relatively.Secondly, the colleges and universities P.E. teacher's information consciousness in the Heilongjiang Province will be strengthened , and can realize that knowing significance of the information and having information literacy and access to information to help teaching. The purpose collecting information is clear and definite realitively, but the physical education teachers can collect information initiatively is less and the time collecting information's averagely every day is less too.Thirdly, the colleges and universities P.E. teacher's information knowledge in the Heilongjiang Province is more poor, and the information ability is worse. The acquaintance is comparatively few and superficial to some concept and connotation of information knowledge, their computer level also mainly concentrating on some simple operations. Gaining the information method that is primitive way is generally through the library and the reference room and so on. The most of physical education teachers know a little or don't understand foreign language. They make use of the more traditional means which mainly process by hand to process information. Their extracted and innovated information capability is weaker, and their spreading information's approach is unitary.Forth, the most of people don't realize that information morality is important part of information literacy, neglecting the importance of information morality.Finally, there are various of reasons limit the colleges and universities P.E. teachers acquire and use information in the Heilongjiang Province. The main factor is the source of computer level. Followed by poor foreign languages, information for less and so on.
