Discussing from both sides of theory and practice, the mathematics problem solving teaching is very important. This studying is set up on a great quantity research of literatures. By comparing with the studying of theory and practice of internal and external mathematics problem solving teaching, the problems existed in internal mathematics problem solving teaching can be found. As the junior middle school education is transition period of primary school education and senior middle school education, this dissertation introduce the theory and teaching design of mathematics problem solving teaching in junior middle school. The article includes four parts: In the end, the problems which can be studied further are given. The thesis includes four parts:1. This part discusses the studying and implementation of internal and external mathematics problem solving teaching. It gives some main ideas of internal and external educators, psychologists, mathematicians and mathematical educators, which are about the studying of mathematics problem solving teaching. And the studying and practice of internal and external mathematics problem solving teaching are introduced. Then the characteristics and the problems existed in internal mathematics problem solving teaching are set forth. 2. This part discusses the theory of mathematics problem solving teaching in junior middle school. In the base of discussing the origin and meaning of mathematics problem solving, the standards of good problem which using in mathematics problem solving, the meaning of problem solving in mathematics problem solving, and the factors which affect mathematics problem solving (the experienced, cognitive and emotional factors), it detailes the purposes, forms, processes, the basic principles and the points for attention of mathematics problem solving teaching in junior middle school. And the forms include two kinds, the teaching form in classroom and in extracurricular activities.3. This part discusses the design of mathematics problem solving teaching in junior middle school. Based on the forms of mathematics problem solving teaching in junior middle school introduced in the part 2 , and combining with the purposes, the processes, the basic principles and the points for attention of mathematics problem solving teaching in junior middle school, the designs of mathematics problem solving in junior middle school teaching are introduced and analysed , such as"similar terms","discussing from the pattern on the back of tortoise","the application of property of similar triangle". 4. By reviewing the studying, the insufficiencies of the studying are found out, and three directions of studying are advanced so that the author will study further and to provide the references for other researchers.
