Chinese modern prose just like a fertile plain plays a very important role in the growth of the high school students. She Not only can widen the aspects of knowledge,develop visualized thinking and exploit language ability;but also nourish the soul,edify the sentiment,bring up good aesthetic feelings and make perfect personality. However,according to a survey,I find that it is far from enough for teachers in the senior high school to focus on the teaching of Chinese modern prose. Let alone develop student aesthetic quality through teaching of Chinese modern prose. Therefore we think it is very important to teach the aesthetic return about Chinese modern prose. In the paper,the first chapter talks about the development course and the aesthetic education value of Chinese modern prose ;the second chapter analyzes the problems which have existed in teaching Chinese modern prose in high school;the third chapter discusses aesthetic principles about Chinese modern prose ;the fourth chapter inquires aesthetic method of teaching Chinese modern prose in high schools. The paper aims at making Chinese teachers in high schools pay enough attention to the Chinese modern prose aesthetic teaching,change traditional teaching methods and build red-hot atmosphere about teaching of modern prose.
