With the build up of socialist market system and its improvement, the reform of higher education system is also deepened. The employment system for graduates is undergone a deep reform, which is changed from assigning a job traditionally by our government to find a job by yourself with the guide of employment policy set by the government. In other words, our government covert fully its role in charge of enrollment and assignment before to guide graduates to choose a job by themselves freely, and decide to do the job not only by themselves but also by employers. In the process of this change, the great majority of graduates in higher agricultural university can command employment situation well, change their views on job hunting, and intensify the awareness of competition. What they do is to meet the challenge of job market willingly, and put themselves actively into the team of choosing jobs according to their own minds. However, some graduates feel confused and hardly to accept this change when faced with the complex job market, there is no doubt that a lot of problems will arise quickly, which is due to the fact that the polities and systems in this period are far from being perfect. So it's easy for student to make confusion about them. The impalance of the supply in job market, together with the structural contradition also put a heavy pressure on graduates in higher agricultural university. The difficulty in finding a job for graduates is emphasized through those aspects.This thesis attempts to analyze the basic ways and characteristics of the current employment of the university students in agricultural institutes of higher learning in China, to make an assay of the advantageous and disadvantageous situation those students have to face up with, and to have a comprehensive knowledge about the current employment situation of those university students on the theoretical basis of human resources. From different perspectives, this thesis makes an analysis of the existing problems such as university students' misconception of employment, the unclear employment channels, the unbalanced employment structure, the unsound employment mechanism, the common phenomenon of high consumption of talents, and the phenomenon that girl students are more difficult to get a job. Besides, the author analyzes the factors that restrict the current employment of the university students in agricultural institutes of higher learning in China from those four aspects——society, employing institutions, agricultural institutes of higher learning and graduates. In the end, the author puts forward several solutions that agricultural institutes of higher learning should make employment service system better and improve employment guidance; governmental functional departments should enhance policy regulation and standardize employment market; employing institutions should establish scientific employment notion and construct an employment mechanism effective for a long time; university students should change employment notion themselves and improve self-qualification; and the whole society should cherish the graduates resources of agricultural institutes of higher learning and creates a nice employment atmosphere.The originality of this thesis is that the author has his eye on more than the employment itself with regards the research on the current employment problem of university students in agricultural institutes of higher learning. The author also makes a systematic and comprehensive research on the current employment situation, existing problems and causes, as well as solutions to those problems.
