The new curriculum reform undergoing in current Mainland China requires teachers'active participation. So teachers'curriculum consciousness is very important. However, most teachers lack curriculum consciousness for historical reasons, which has now become an important factor to constrain the successful implementation of the new curriculum reform. Therefore, it is necessary to do some study on teacher's curriculum consciousness.This paper consists of six parts. The first part of the thesis is an introduction, which discusses the origin of the research, introduces the relevant researches at home and abroad, and shows the purpose and values of my study. The second part clarifies the conception of teachers'curriculum consciousness and discusses its structure. The third part tries to defend the rationality of teachers'curriculum consciousness. The fourth part discusses the content of curriculum consciousnesses, which includes subject consciousness, productive consciousness, consciousness of study, consciousness of curriculum right, and consciousness of resources development and so on. The fifth part analyzes the social environment, the individual quality and the practice, all of which influence the generation of curriculum consciousness. The sixth part put forwards some strategies on how to speed up the generation of curriculum consciousness.
