The Analysis Of Medical Care Of The University Students In Chongqing

With the establishment and continuously development of the system of social security in our country, our citizens almost accept the basic security. However, there arises a new problem of the medical care of the students in universities. As a result of the medical care of university students hasn't been in the range of the basic medical care of cities and towns recently as well as the students can't pay for the medical bills to get the immediate treatments, it causes that the number of the students who suffer serious illness or incurable diseases increases year by year. That dare to get ill and no money for medicines is gradually to disturbe the ordinary study and life of the students.This thesis aims to the problem of the medical care of the university students in Chongqing, and discusses the system of social security, the system of medical care, and the system of socialized medicine, as well as puts forward some suggestions through investigating and analyzing in the medical care of the university students in Chongqing. The thesis is divided into four parts:Part 1: Some theories of the medical careIt is mainly to discuss the origin, the development, and the signification of medical care as well as the same content of the system of social security in China. It also expounds the theory of the system of medical care and the process of the historical evolvement of medical care in our country. In addition, it illustrates the development of our public medical expense, the process of bringing out the public medical expense of university students, and the actuality and the problem of the system of medical care of university students.Part 2: The design and the research method of analyzing the problem of medical care of the university students in ChongqingIt contains four parts, including the frame of this research, the produce of the questionnaire?, the object of the investigation and the method of the sampling, as well as how the locale investigation developed.Part 3: The present research of medical care of the university students in ChongqingThis research takes 1077 students from four universities in Chongqing(Chongqing University, Chongqing Medical University, Chongqing Normal College and Southwestern University). It factually shows the problem of the medical care of university students in Chongqing through questionnaire and analysis. From the research, we find that most of the informants couldn't understand the medical care of university students clearly, and they are commonly dissatisfied with their present medical care in schools. Meanwhile, the students who are from lower financial families lack of money for treatment occupy a big proportion of the whole. Therefore, this research discloses the intensively necessary to establish a system of the medical care of university students with the emphasis of serious diseases.Part 4: The suggestion of consummating the system of medical care of university students in ChongqingThe thesis on the basic of the analysis of present condition of medical care points that the establishment of consummating the medical of university students should contain the following three rules: 1. Enforce the devotion from the government; 2. The universities should regulate their managements; 3. Establish the system of medical treatment of serious diseases in our city.The purpose of this thesis is to give some suggestions through analyzing the present medical care of the university students in Chongqing. And we hope it can raise the attention of government and the whole society to improve the situation gradually in order to release some social conflicts and create an ideal, and harmonious circumstance for the development of Chongqing.
