This study is an exploratory on career anchors of Cninese educatorbased on Shein's theory of career anchors. The research use Shein' career orientationinvestigator(COI), job-satisfaction scale and turnover-intention scale to learn aboutcareer anchors of Chinese educators, and further to know how the match betweencareer anchors and job characteristics influence educator's job satisfactions andturnover intention.The research carry out 14 deep-talks, 4 typical case studies and 323questionair-survey, use SPSS and Amos software to analysis datas, and finally reachthe following conclusions through discussion:1. Shein'COI is adaptable in Chinese educators;2. The main career anchors in Chinese educators is lifestyle anchor;3. One can own more than one career anchor meanwhile;4. Career anchors have direct effects on educator's turnover intention;5. Career anchors influence educator's turnover intention through jobsatisfaction;6. Career anchors of educators are different on sex and ages;7. Turnover intention of educators is different on teaching ages, positionsand marriage status.
