I adopted the method for collecting data, investigating and visiting, observing, comparing and inquiring. The objects for researching are young players and adults players, the conditions for football fields and facilities, coaches for young players in Hohhot, situations of training, matches, and amateur matches for adults, then according to the results of investigation, I make out some appropriate policies against the improvement for football level in Hohhot, the aim for which is to improve popularization rate and level for football in media and small sized cities, reduce the gaps between cities, provide reference for Inner Mongolia football organization to use and built solid base for improve the whole level of football game in China. The conclusion is:1.There is less football fields and the average area of fields is insufficient in Hohhot. There is less specific fields for playing football and the whole conditions for fields is bad. The development of amateur football for adults depends on football matches, so it's not necessary to have many accessory facilities.2. The numbers of coaches in Hohhot can basically meet the needs. But most of coaches are too young and lack of experience in professional matches, and the education, title and sports level for them are not fit for requirement. Meanwhile, they have not undertaken systemic job training, so they need to enrich themselves with professional knowledge and improve the ability in teaching.3. The football schools in Hohhot mainly depends on the society assistance, and they charge too much tuition and have no perfect and systemic method for collecting smaller football players. These schools do not make primary selection for their students and have no ideas for the further development after their students'graduation.4. The time spent in training for young football players in Hohhot is not enough. The outlay for football training comes from students and schools. It exists conflicts between training and studies. Most young players do not make much effort in studying common subjects.5. There are less young football matches in Hohhot, and most teams have rare opportunities to take part in province level matches.6. The amateur football matches for adults have great difference than the players had expected in time arrangement, times and types. Most of players are not satisfied with the coach's level and conditions of fields. However, with good atmosphere in matches and being easier to carry out, most players in Hohhot love football game very much, and they are actively to take part in matches.
