The Current Operating Situation And Future Development Of College Stadiums In Hohhot City

After successful closing of2008Beijing Olympic Games, nationwide fitness movements come to a new developing period and evoke a wave of enthusiasm in fit-keeping recently. Hohhot is a provincial capital city in rapid development:politics, economy, culture and other causes are progressing gradually. In post-Olympic time, with sports population enlarging, but Venues per capita possessing only2.68square meters of Hohhot, to meet the demand of population for rich body-building space needs the prompt solution. We concluded from the results of the fifth survey of nationwide body-building space that gymnasiums in schools are of a large proportion of all venues. Some of six colleges and universities in Hohhot are open to the public,33.3%of them not. On such a period as fitness areas of the masses are getting increasing contradiction between supply and demand, how bring the gymnasiums in schools into maximal efficacy and support the mass sport. To those above problems, the essay researched venues in six colleges and universities, as a reference of improving utilize level of those venues.The essay made gymnasiums in colleges and universities as object of study. Through researching Literature, Questionnaire, Mathematical statistics, Filed study and Expert interviews and etc, we analyzed utilizes and managements of those venues, and reach conclusions as follows.(1)Opening time is short which cannot supply the demand of participating in the exercises. Some managing organizations of venues hesitate to open to the public. Therefore, utilize of those venues stay in a poor situation.(2)There are some conflicts between opening time and teaching time of schools, which will affect the daily educational activities.(3)Opening programs and their managing organizations are ongoing under no supervision. To daily operations and examinations on qualifications, there are no standards. In addition, some restrictive rules to the administration of the venues are not perfection.(4)Operating funds are not sufficient with backward maintenance and management, especially after opening to the public.(5)Managing system exists deficiencies in the open colleges gymnasiums, operation is not sufficiently standardized,management is in some confusion and so on.On the basic of studying the conclusions, we reach six suggestions.(1)After integrating resources of urban and schools’ venues, we should promote the opening to the public in all domains;(2) more objective in work, we drive to overcome obstacles of development;(3) we find ways to meet mass demands who have different fitting consumptions;(4)the local government should support on policy and push forward the opening;(5) the organizations related should give supply nursery finance to the opening venues;(6)win-win system of opening venues should be established in Hohhot.
