Physicial education specialty has the longest teaching history in the higher physicial education in our country.For a long time,althought the structure and function of school sports have great changes in our country,courses,setting that is centered on subjects and traditional pattern which is classied to teach according to competitive project haven,t made basic changes.If all specialty in higher institutions don,t give immediate response to those changes and don,t adjust elit cultivative pattern and standard according to the standard of society,it,s existence and development will be restricted.As far as higher education is concerned,the most important is to provide the more possible space for students, furture.So from the point of tendency of higher education reform and social necessary,it,s urgent for physical education specialty,s curriculum design implemented furthur reform.Nowadays,for higher education reform,the main topic is to speed up the reform of curriculum system.Based on the investment and summary of the current uandergraduat teaching plan about physical education specialty in six institutions of ShanDong provice,with the view of traning and curriculum reform,this paper analyzes and summurizes their features,then it puts forward some advices about reform to make references for the curriculum reform in higher physical education reform.By using the methods of literature review,interview questionair,logic analysis,comparison analysis and mathmatical statistics,this paper analyzes the specific situation of curriculum design and finds out the generality and personality in combination with the spirits of new"curriculum scheme"which is issued by ministry of education.Meanwhile,according to the new goal of elite training that emphasizes on students,all-round quality,creative consciousness and practical ability,this paper makes a furthur research to the goal of training and curriculum design of uandergraduate program in physical education of ShanDong province,then it draws a condusion and gives some suggestions that are worth using for reference to physical education specialty.conclusion and discussion:(1)The training objective of physical education specialty in Shandong Province hasn't adapted to the requirements of market economy currently. So it should transform its training objectives from junior physical education teachers to enlarge the scope of training talents, such as sports administrant and comprehensive talents.(2)The arrangement of optional courses in Shandong Province can't serve the purpose of training talent .There are still some gaps between the arrangement and the requirements of New Courses Arrangement promulgated by Education Ministry in 2003.(3)Contrast with other places and countries, the arrangement of optional courses in physical education still exists some shortcomings. They reflect too many compulsory courses, few optional courses; also there are lack of flexibility when students select courses, which are hindrances to the development of students'characteristics.(4)The training objective of physical education specialty in Shandong Province hasn't adapted to the"physical and health". In primary and elementary school. So it should set up some educational courses, strengthen humanism education and establish the idea of"Health first, base to human"to satisfy the need of elementary education from the examination education to quality education.(5)The training objective of physical education specialty in Shandong Province lacks characteristic courses and new course arrangement. So this paper suggests the physical institutes in Shandong Province ser up different specialty and new pattern courses.
