Research On The Change Of The Rural Women's Fertility Desires In Northern Anhui Province

With the further developing of family planning work and rapid development of economy, there is a general improvement on farmers'living standard in our country. Also, the fertility desires of rural women have changed remarkably and it plays an active role in the respects of effective controlling the growth of rural population and improving the quality of the population. Experienced a period of changes, however, new challenges and problems have occurred in the rural population, such as the seriously high sex ration at birth as well. The main influencing factors on change of fertility desires are analyzed and discussed in detail based on Yangzhai village case in this paper. First the precious fertility desires of women of Yangzhai village are made a conclusion according to the time and introduce the reproductive status. Then the main influencing factors on change of fertility desires were summarized by comparison the precious and modern fertility desires. The author hopes it can lend some reference to grasp the change trend of fertility desires of women of Yangzhai village. We hope the fertility desires of rural women are further transformed and drive rural population to develop toward a more harmonious and more wholesome in China.
