Since the beginning of this century, with the intellectud econny coming into being, school education has become the main means of knowledge education and cultivating the spirit of creation and creative workers. Therefore, reforming the traditional teaching method and promoting creation in teaching have become our honor -found missions. The maths teaching in this period studies into the diversion from traditional teaching to creative teaching, and conclude four basic steps in maths teaching under the theory of creative teaching as the following: Creating a situation, Studying together, Discovering the answer and deducting. The key of classroom teaching is "creation".In the thesis, a brief introduction of creative maths teaching was given. The whole thesis has six chapters, the first and second chapters are about the background and theoretical basis of creative teaching. The third and forth chapters define what is creative teaching and give instructions on how to operate it. The fifth chapter studies creative teaching by giving examples of putting it into practice. The sixth chapter is about the understanding of the theory of creative teaching.
