In order to meet the requirement of the time, the government of our country has put forward the design of our country has put forward the design of forming a society of learning style. To realize this goal, each member of the society should possesses the ability of self-regulated learning. The new standard of Maths Course in Senior middle schools(2003) has made it clear that the students should experience the procedures of creativeness and discovery in maths and nurture the consciousness of seeking the new . Therefore, raising the self-regulated learning ability of the students is a must for those who are working in field of education in the new period . Classrooms are the main fields to fulfill this task. The traditional teaching and learning model which emphasizes the accumulation of knowledge through lectures cannot deal with it . Therefore, searching for the self-regulated learning style for maths learning in senior middle schools which suits the condition of our country is the requirement of our times. The study of self-regulated learning model was taken up late in our country. Many of those who work in the field of education and scientific researchers began to do a lot of effective work and middle school teachers also began to join in the teaching research of it, but it only remained on the stage of pursuit and improvement of teaching arts and the traditional teaching still popular. It seemed that the education of lack of strong basic. The existed self-regulated teaching and learning models are mostly researched on a certain aspect, which is far from enough as to the recombination of the theories of teaching models. The research on how to nurture the student's ability of self-regulated learning through maths teaching in senior middle school remains to be done. The emphasis of the stated research focus on the analysis of the characteristics of self-regulated study of the students in senior middle school, and the formation of the effective teaching models. On theory, the stated research analyses the acquirement and the ability of self-regulated learning, through comparison and documentary methods. On practice, two classes from No. 2 middle school of Nanning were chosen as the subjects of experiments. Through two-month teaching practice, analysis, comparing the results of learning with other non-experimented classes, and through answering-question sheets, daily observation, communication, an effective self-regulated learning and teaching model for maths has come into being,The stated model pays attention to the characteristic of teaching and learning of maths in senior middle school and combines theory with practice. Through the analysis of lessons, the model intends to suit the maths teaching and nurture the ability of self-regulated learning of the students, so that the students can have a better and stronger foundation for their developments in the future. Meanwhile, it is hoped to enrich the contents of the research to self-regulated learning in some way and push the development of self-regulated learning.
