With the steady development of economy and popularization of higher education, higher vocational colleges in our country are developing vigorously. While at the same time, a series of problems come out, such as lack of teachers, unreasonable teacher structure as well as depressing of teaching quality. Under the national macroscopic regulations, higher vocational colleges try to solve these problems by many means. One of them is to introduce part-time faculty to improve their teacher's structure and teaching quality. How will this kind of strategy effect actually? This dissertation puts forwards the assurance strategy of teaching quality, which is based to the predecessors' harvests and the circumstances of current higher vocational colleges.Firstly, related concepts about teaching quality assurance of part-time faculty are summarized in this dissertation. Then, theoretical analysis about teaching quality assurance of part-time faculty has been carried out; In order to obtain more practical evidence about part-time faculty teaching quality, the author makes communications with faculty managers and sets out questionnaires about teaching quality assurance of part-time faculty in six higher vocational schools from Hunan province. Based on the data statistics of questionnaires, factors that affected teaching quality are summarized. With comparison means, the domestic and foreign successful experiences on teacher quality assurance are discussed in the fourth part. Finally, the dissertation puts forward the proposals as strengthening government macroeconomic regulation, introducing employer appraisal, encouraging intermediary organization participation, standardizing part-time faculty employment policy, enhancing teaching management, perfecting teaching appraisal system, consummating the stimulation mechanism and so on.
