The Tour de France is France's most prestigious and famous sporting event, but what does it mean to the French? What is its contribution to the culture history of sport, and to the sport of cycling itself? This volume marks the centenary of the Tour by examining the event's history, its relationship with commence and the media, and by exploring the cultural values it represents. This essay provide a fascinating insight into a modern sporting phenomenon by a detailed illustration.The Tour of Qinghai Lake as the highest level cycling event in the so called'bicycle empire'- China take Tour de France as a model aimed to become the internatioal Tour in the world. However, given the distance, the different political economic and culture background, and the fast changing environment, faced to the 100 years elder, we need to learnd and develop a sustainable strategy and how to implement it effectively, which requires in-depth understanding of sport management/marketing and the particular environment in China.Conclusion is follow :Tour de France is a modern sport. It is– avaricious commercialism, creative technology, competitive obsession, media addiction, doping enhancement:'a pre-modern context conveying"modern"values in a"post-modern"context . One aspect of its modernity, driven by a sharp eye to profit, has been its continuous invention and re-invention. Circumstances and conditions are always changing, and the Tour always modifies everything to harmonize with the new situation.Tour of Qinghai Lake is an event that is held in China, takes place in a particularly picturesque region on the borders of Tibet between the lake and the mountains, at an altitude which is unusual for a cycling event (between 2,000 and 4,000 meters), it is a new event and not yet running smoothly in terms of organization. To holding a sustainable succeed Tour, it is necessary, first of all, to define the qualities and shortcomings of the first Qinghai Tour, to promote its strengths and minimize its shortcomings. It's obvious that Tour de France is a typical model.
