The Problem And Its Countermove Of The Teaching On Ideology And Politics In The Higher Vocational College

The course of ideology and politics in higher vocational college is the main channel and method, through which we can carry out the ideological education and set up the correct world outlook,outlook on life and sense of worth. In order to bring them into play, it is necessary to analyze the problems existed in the teaching of ideology and politics in the higher vocational college and study the countermove.In order to realize the problems existed in the teaching of ideology and politics in the higher vocational college and find out the reasons and the countermove, we must make the series of papers on reinforcing and improving the ideological and politics education issued by the Chinese Communist Party and our country as a guide.The first is that we have not ascertained the position of the course in some college. The last one is the teachers can not meet the requirements on the quantity as well as the structure. There are some weakness on the improvement of teachers' training and scientific research and teachers' ideology.The reason why we have not ascertained the position of the course of ideology and politics lies on the leaders don not pay much attention to the student's ideology and politics education and have not set up the related system to direct,manage and carry out.The reason why there is not the proper textbook with the characteristic of higher vocational education is on the one hand the building of the course is still based on undergraduate education directed by the education department and on the other hand there is too much controls on the textbook. The teachers also don not realize the relationship between the system of textbook and the actual teaching.The reason why it is difficult to carry out the practical teaching in this course is it is paid enough attention to the necessity and meaning of the practical teaching patterns in the teaching management department. So, they will not make effort to run it.The old teaching patterns and the lacking of attractiveness and appeal result from the teachers' idea,skills,ability,research and the facilities.The reason why the teachers are not qualified is the leaders and the management department don not realize the importance and meaning of training the teachers. The task and duty of improving the teachers are not clear. There is not the good system and much weakness on improving the teachers' ideology.We should give the course proper position and guide the teaching by the party's direction,reinforce the system construction and make sure the steady improvement.We should deal with the problems existed in teaching and textbook and make the national textbook as guide. We must construct the teaching system according to the students of higher vocational college and reform the teaching content.How to deal with the problems of carrying out the practical teaching patterns lies on thoroughly realize the meaning of reinforcing and improving the practice in society for college students. And, it is also important to emphasize the key steps and real objectives and arrange the activities well. Fourthly, how to improve the teaching method in class lies on the correct understanding of meaning and function of theory input. Similarly, we should improve the teaching method, using the modern teaching methods and eliciting method. We must upraise the students' inner needs to this course.At last, how to improve the teachers lies on the teachers' training,emphasizing the construction of teachers' ideology,making them better qualified. And, we must direct the teachers' scientific research and make it the important channel to improve the teachers' qualification.
