Homework assignment is an important component of teaching. Current homework planned by teachers is too much and too difficult. Its content is confined to the textbook and its form and way are dull, which inhibits students 'interest, influences the result and hinders the development of quality-oriented education.If we teachers plan the homework whose difficulty is equal to students' level or slightly on the high side according to students' knowledge, skill, experience and their psychological state of distinction, we can fully stimulate students' entity in doing their homework.Through four types of planning and analyzing of the chemistry homework assignment, we draw a conclusion that new course chemistry homework assignment should have the following characteristics: firstly, to establish the students' subject status in doing their homework; secondly, its content and time has openness; thirdly, its form and the way of completing it have variety; lastly, to fulfill " The three-dimension " Goal ,that is , knowledge and skill, course and method, emotion attitude and values, which is recommended in the new course idea.Rich and colorful course resources such as textbooks, teaching and complementing materials, the resource of laboratories, industrial and agricultural production material, life material, etc. are the enormous information source of students' study. We teachers can change the resources into chemistry homework material. In this way, we can expand the content of chemistry homework, enrich its form and function, and initiate a homework revolution so that the students can win overall development during the course of finishing their homework assignment.
