Improving middle-school students' sound personality is the profitable target and the basic objective of the elementary education curriculum reform and teaching reform in the 21st century. Under the guidance of Marxist philosophy, sociology personality psychology and language courses standards, the article researches the relationship between the teaching of middle school Chinese language reading and improvementof the students' sound personality in order to explore the effective ways and modalities of sound personality and to provide references on the basis of absorbing the latest researches in education.The paper consists of three parts : introduction, body, and conclusion. The body is constituted of four chapters.Introduction Interpretating the reasons why researches of the relationship between between the teaching of middle school Chinese language reading and improvementof the students' sound personality are undertaken and their necessities. It is now necessary to adapt to the development trends of the times and language curriculum standards revolution and to raise the students' sound personality. The part shows the framework of the text.Chapter 1 Defining issues of related concepts and their relationships. Analysising instruction of language reading, character, good personality and its nurture of good personality by language reading and their relationships to the improvement of students' sound personality.Chapter 2 The relevant Chinese theoretical backgrounds in terms of sound personality. Combined with the questionnaire of middle school students' personality psychology and related information, the paper focuses on the question from the perspective of philosophy, sociology and pedagogy.Chapter 3 Research summary of Language Reading teaching and sound personality education. In terms of reality, history, it s necessary to focus on the researches of the improved personality education. It is further pointed out that perfect personality education is not only transmitting ,but also adapted to the tinevitable trend.Chapter 4 Exploring on Teaching Models to improve sound personality of students by way of instruction of Language Reading. It is elaborated that four types of teaching texts of "exposition, literature, functiuon and classical Chinese" contribute to the instruction of students' sound personality, and the type of literature texts is touched upon in details. Its idea is new, and it is practical and operational.Chapter 5 Related factors and impact of Language Reading teaching on sound personality education. It is mentioned that, apart from text, students, classroom teaching , such internal factors as extracurricular reading, campus culture, family, community, and social environment have gradual impact on the improvement of students' sound personality.Conclusion The part deals with the problems, perplexities and reflections in studies.
