The boom development of higher education is one of the goals for all countries in world. Teachers in universities play an important role with the development of higher education .Young teachers represent the future of universities. So it is urgent to solve the problems of young teachers' growth and development in universities.Teachers' professional growth and development is the process which teachers should enrich and perfect their professional quality structure in their professional lives.The paper mainly uses the on-the-spot observation and literature review. Based on the characteristics of young teachers' professional growth and development in universities, the paper provides guarantee measures for promoting young teachers' professional growth and development, through studying effect factors, phases and approaches of teachers' professional growth and development, discusses the problems exiting in young teachers' professional growth and development of universities from many perspectives.The full text divides into five parts altogether:Part 1, namely introduction, mainly explains the reason, aim and meaning of this study, describes and reviews the status of academia research on this special topic at home and abroad, defines the core and relative concepts, introduces mainframe and aim of the paper, main content and research approach.Part 2, Phase of Young Teacher's Professional Growth and Development in Universities. Analyzing the basic stages of young teacher's professional growth and development in normal universities based on the current situation of teaching stuff in Universities.Part 3, analyzes the effect factors of young teachers' professional growth and development from two aspects: external environmental factors and inherent factors of teachers.Part 4, explores on approaches of young teachers' professional growth and development in universities. Teaching reflections, cooperative Learning, and school-based teacher training can improve young teachers' professional growth and development in normal universities.Part5, studies the guarantee mechanisms of young teachers' professional growth and development in universities. Based on the former researches, the author points out the strategies of young teachers' professional growth and development, including creating good development conditions, construction of systems supporting young teachers' professional growth and development, strengthening construction of teachers' ethics in normal universities, inspiring teachers' subjective consciousness, so as to promote the young teachers' professional proficiency.
