With the reinforcement of information-based constructions in college, the key purpose of the instruction is to train the student's ability of self-regulated learning. In order to improve the traditional way of instruction emphasizing the central role of the instructors in class, the effective method is to guide the student to be a self-regulated learner, train and improve them the ability of self-regulated learning. Focusing on a certain case analysis concerning the activity design of self-regulate learning via the course Methodology of Educational technology for the Student 2003 majoring in Educational Technology at Northwest Normal University, this research is mainly discussing the question of instructional design of self-regulated learning for college students under the learning environment of information technology with three research methods named Questionnaire Survey, Interview and Behavior Study, which depending on the WebCL platform of Online Educational Laboratory in Beijing Normal University.Based on the academic research on different self-regulated learning dimensions, this article argues an instructional guiding model of self-regulated learning, which is available to the college students under the learning environment of information technology. What the instructors engage in under this model is designing relative self-regulated learning activity for students so as to guide, induct and instruct their learning processes, boosting their self-regulated learning ability step by step with the following learning levels: with the ability to learn, the desire to learn, the methods to learn and the persistence to learn, guiding the student to select the learning content by themselves, enlightening their learning interest and learning motivation, instructing them to adjust the learning tactics, plan and run the learning schedule and make use of learning resource actively, stimulating them to control and evaluate the learning processes by themselves, as well as training and improving their ability of self-regulated learning.Under the instructional guiding model of self-regulated learning with the support of information technology, the research achieves a good progress on instructional effect, not only train student's ability of motivation, initiative and creativity, but also improve their ability of self-regulated learning. The model has a series of advantages reflecting on the following points: clear level, specific aim, well operation, as well as the feasible basis which assist the instructor to analyze the specific levels and periodic aims on student's ability of self-regulated learning. Furthermore, the model will be a good contribution on the integrated and clear thinking-path for the instructors to guide, induct and instruct the student's self-regulated learning processes, as well as the validity on academic reference and practical basis in terms of the instructional design of self-regulated learning for college student under the study environment of information technology.
