There are two clues in mathematics teaching : basic knowledge and mathematical methodology. The basic knowledge of mathematics, which is printed in the book, is observable; while the methodology, constantly,is hidden in the concrete knowledge. As a result, the methodology------the soul of mathematics, is so easy to be neglected that it often fail to guide the teaching and studying activity. The present situation forces teachers to dig it out from the hide and to present and use it in daily teaching activities as a guide. Getting on the present situation of mathematic methodology teaching, the author writes, this paper " Research on the teaching method of penetrating mathematic methodology in junior school mathematic teaching" to explore the further development of it.The paper, based on the fruits of lots of researches, presents the subject from both theory and practice. It expresses the meaning, connotation and basic categories theoretically. Besides, the article summarizes both the teaching method and the principles that should be adhered to through study on several typical cases.Study shows that mathematic methodology is extremely important in both teaching and learning. It not only can improve the teacher's researching and teaching ability but also develop students' analyzing ability and skill .In this way, it will has long-term affect on the efficiency of mathematic teaching.
