Writing is the basis of all subjects and the very starting point and destination of language teaching. Therefore, it obtains concerns of language teachers educators. However, generally low levels of students'writing has been the problems in language teaching and writing teaching has not received good results all the time. This paper focuses on teaching junior high school students'essay-writing through surveys and interviews and other methods to grasp the status of essay teaching in junior high schools. On the basis of the Theory of Constructivism and the"Full-time compulsory education language curriculum standard (experiment manuscript)", specific teaching strategies are put forward for students in junior high schools .Introduction is divided into three parts, the first describes the meaning of essay-teaching in junior high schools, and then the profile of domestic and international essay-teaching is summed up .At last, the methods are be given in the paper.Part 1 is about the investigation of junior-high-school-students'essay-teaching. During the research, questionnaire survey and papers-analysis are used to students, while interview method is used to teachers. Through the research, we get materials not only the situation of the junior-high-school-students'essay-teaching but also lots of valuable teaching experience. Finally, all contacts and analysis are concluded to discover all overt and covert crux in junior-high-school-students'essay-teaching, which is the study basis of teaching strategies.Part 2 is about junior-high-school-students'essay-teaching strategy theory. The theoretical basis for the research are as followed: the theory of building the teaching concept which inspires junior-high-school-students'essay-teaching raining system designed to students interested in writing, situation-teaching of essay-writing and the teacher-student interaction. Another is a " Full-time compulsory education language curriculum standard " of essay-teaching, the"Full-time compulsory education language curriculum standard"shows the clear curriculum goals and any teaching activities should focus on the teaching objectives.Part 3 is about composition teaching strategies in junior high schools. This article holds that the composition teaching should first construct a scientific training system, in view of the character Junior High School and the " Full-time compulsory education language curriculum standard " on the junior high school essay teaching requirements, training essay topic is designed for classes in Grade seven to Grade nine in three year's; Next, new specific methods of training for junior high school students is explored from the angle of excited interest, material accumulation, capacity-building and essay comments. If teachers in Junior high school can master overall strategy described in this paper, junior-high-school-students'essay-writing level can be significantly enhanced in the end.
