The material structure is one of the most quintessential parts of chemistry contest and a key content of chemistry competition in recent years. Being made up of a series of basic theories and basic conception, it plays an extremely important role in the examination of reviewing student's integration capability. By practicing and investigating in middle schools, the author drafted a set of contest training mode regarding learning knowledge as the foundation, educating methods as bridge, improving student's integration capability as final purpose. In knowledge learning, the paper combined with the contents of material structure learned in high school already, extended the knowledge of the university rationally; after analyzing the contests in recent ten years, the author had expounded broadness and depth of knowledge distribution. In the field of ability training, the forming of self-study abilities is the most important component of this paper. Actually, contest studying is the comparison of self-study ability. Students would find their own routes in the vast knowledge ocean only under teacher's control and forming self-study ways which suit their own cognitive characteristics. Methods'teaching is another emphasis in this paper. As the bridge connecting knowledge with ability, the methodology stands a parallel position. Students should handle the hypothesis and models to solve problems in contests.1. In this paper, the author had analyzed and summarized the material structure of senior middle school chemistry. Contest training should be based on teaching of basic knowledge. It would be a dangerous game without knowledge teaching in contest training, like water without source.2. The author analyzed the knowledge structure of contest syllabus. In this part, knowledge requirements, focusing on material structure, were referred in such training.3. The characteristics of the contest were systematically described in the past ten years. The corresponding statistics analysis were also done. The part proved the validity of training knowledge requirement mentioned above.4. It is one of the aims in contest to improve students'integration capability. While the intension of ability is the key content of this paper. This article had put forward the corresponding training objective to the characteristics of material structure. By analyzing the typical resolution as an example, the paper showed contest ability characteristics for an outstanding player.5. Scientific methods plays an important role for contest. The application of the typical scientific methods help much for solving the contest problem, improving students'integration qualities.6. After summarizing the above expatiation of knowledge, abilities, methods and combining the corresponding education theories, the author had proposed the mode of context training based on material structure.In the last part, directing against this kind of training mode, the author compared the study-group after class of chemistry in Chengdu and Urumchi. Having corresponding positive research, the author draw the conclusion as follow: using such kind of training mode is favorable to the construction of the student knowledge system and has positive meaning for improvement of students'integration capability.
