School-based training(SBT)is an in-service continued educatio n mode provide by school for all its teachers in order to increase their capac ity for educating,teaching and research,and to improve the quality of the sc hool.It is conducted under the guidance of specialized educationed agencies or experts.And the resources inside and outside the school are digged and m ade the best use of in the process of SBT.The school headmaster is directly responsible for supervising the organizing,planning and implementing SBT i n light of the actual situation of the school.SBT still emphasizes on educatio n and teaching practice and the development of teachers'teaching abilities.And as it can solve all the more such problems as "the contracdition between w ork and leaning,the lack of expenditure and the indefinition of aims,etc", at present it is a relatively better in-service teachers' training mode.But its e ffect in rural junior middle school in the West of China isn't remarkable whi ch is due to some discipline teachers'numember is very few or even one.So a t present this SBT mode difficultly satisfies their needs of carrying out subjec t speciality training.Hence,the author takes new curriculum SBT of chemistr y teachers in junior middle school of Coughty Pingchang,Province Sichuan as the case of this research to construct a big SBT mode based on the deepl y inquiry and interview which lying the region teachers'training center on the main training organization by network.This mode fits in with the charactisc s of "wide scope,few scipline stuff,more part-time teachers,backward sch ool apparatus,relatively far away from one another schools"The thesis is composed of four parts:Part 1 is "intruduction",which points out purpose,thought way and meth ode of research,protrudes its value on the thesis.The research purpose cover s the prosperity of SBT and the research on SBT mode and practice in the p rocess of carrying out SBTPart 2 analyzes correlative theory concerning SBT mode in primary and middle school,and takes new curriculum SBT of chemistry teachers in junior middle school of Coughty Pingchang,Province Sichuan as the case of this research.Thus is made based on the theory and practice of constructing new mode.Part 3 costructs a new mode on the base of deeply inquiry and intervie w,and elaborates its practice and theory bases,content elements,principle, operating process,charactiscs and the problems to ought to be paid attention t o in the process of carrying out this mode.Part 4 is "postscript",which states several shortage respects and prospe cts on the search.
