At the same time, in order to have a more objective and clear understanding on the law development of the classical chinese reading in the Senior High School Entrance Examination since the new curriculum reform, along with increasing the scientific nature of this study, this article ueses the chinese Senior High School Entrance Examination of the year of 2004,2005,2006 as the complementary object. The longitudinal comparison between the tests of different years will come out with the development direction and the tendency characteristic of the classical chinese reading in the Senior High School Entrance Examination.In the basic circs of ancient prose reading test,this paper is studying on the amount, the word count of reading and the form of present of the test materials,the point,amount of test of the test.It is found that the basic circs of ancient prose reading test is laying siege to it's scientific and standardization,which is keeping stability and succession with the former years.In the test material,this paper is studying on the standard of selection, the derivation of test material , the connection and the characteristic of clime. It is found that the material of ancient prose reading test is developing towards the multiplicity and abundance.In the test content,this paper is studying on the main testing content and characteristics of testing content.It is found that t The basic knowledge is always of great important. At the same time, the open test has a lot of types gradually.The reseach on ancient prose reading test of the Senior High School Entrance Examination is based on the reality of current chinese language education, has a certain feasibility. Therefore, the correct understanding and analysis of the test material, the test type as well as the proposition mentality in the classical chinese readings, has an important strategic significance regarding the current junior middle school language teaching. What's more, it has advantages for the classical chinese reading test to go futher on the scientific and standardized path.
