On Teachers' Burnout And Its Influencing Factors In Teaching Research Institutions

With school-based teaching putting forward,contents,functions and methods of teaching research institutions absolutely changed.Teachers, as the subject of teaching research institutions,are exposed to all kinds of pressures,which are against teachers' mental health,stabilization of the staff and training quality of teachers in elementary school.So teachers' burnout should be attached importance to quality of school-based teaching and teachers' literacy in teaching research institutions.On the basis of domestic and overseas researches on teachers' burnout and traits of teachers in teaching research institutions,the paper analyzes teachers' burnout from the stuff and from different genders, different marriages,different ages,different working years,different educational levels and different teaching levels and draws conclusions by 120 teachers participated in the research and questionnaire and interviews applied in the research as follows:(1)The whole level of teachers' burnout is not severe,someone in middle level of burnout and someone in the inclination to burnout.(2)There are no differences among teachers in such factors as emotional exhaustion,depersonalization,diminished personal accomplishment and knowledge exhaustion in teaching research institutions.(3)The score of burnout from married teachers are higher than from unmarried teachers.There are differences in emotional exhaustion,but not in depersonalization,diminished personal accomplishment and knowledge exhaustion in teaching research institutions.(4)Emotional exhaustion from teachers of different ages is different, but not in depersonalization,diminished personal accomplishment and knowledge exhaustion in teaching research institutions.(5)Teachers' emotional exhaustion develops with depersonalization, first upward and then downward;changes of personal accomplishment and knowledge exhaustion are complex in teaching research institutions.(6)Burnout from teachers of different educational level are different from emotional exhaustion and knowledge exhaustion,but not from depersonalization,diminished personal accomplishment in teaching research institutions.(7)Teachers of different teaching level are different in burnout. Emotional exhaustion from proficient teachers are higher than novice and expert teachers,depersonalization from novice teachers higher than from proficient and expert teachers,personal accomplishment from expert teachers higher than from novice and proficient and knowledge exhaustion lower than from novice and proficient teachers in teaching research institutions.According to analysis of original cause of these phenomena,the study shows elicitation used for reference on teachers' psychological consultation and healthy protection,on specialization training and on their appraises mechanism.Due to extensive causes of Teachers' burnout, all problems should not be solved apart from combination of schools, society and teachers.
