The problem in agriculture,countryside,and farmer has become the hot one at present in China.The concrete meaning of it should include as followed:low efficiency of agricultural productivity and under-development of rural economy;the low income and difficulty of increasing their income;and the lack of guarantee to the rights and interests of farmers.All of these factors can be combined into one problem of rural economy.Therefore,the key step to solve the problem is to increase income of farmers, that is,to develop the economy of countryside.While the critical factor to influence the development of rural economy is the exploitation of human resources in the rural area,so the root of the issue has lied in the rural educational problem.Based on such a background,the research has been set and made to study the coordinative relations between rural education and rural economic development,which aims to explore the direction of reform of rural education to serve the construction and development of rural economy better and deal with the issue in agriculture,countryside and farmers radically.At present,the researches on coordinative relation between rural education and rural economy all employ the macro-research on nation or part of regions in China.By taking Yong Chuan County,through the pattern of micro,the thesis makes an empirical research with econometric means to explore the relationship of rural education and economy.In the hope of improving its pertinence,the thesis offers the valuable reference basis for government to strengthen the rural educational reform to promote the development of rural economy.The thesis consists of five chapters.At the start of thesis,it states the background,significance,target, method,and object of research,research status,and the course of technology and recourses of materials. Chapter 2 focuses on theories which concentrates on the connotation of rural education and make a clear definition that it should face to the country and promote the social progress and civilization;it has all functions,roles and attributes of education;it is the common factors of educational system and rural social system.The content and pattern of rural education will be changed with the progress of social development.At the same time,by studying the theories of human resources,economic growth and the theory of harmonious development,we can get the conclusion that the relation between rural education and development of rural economy is mutual promotion and restriction,and also,there are certainties within coordinate development.Chapter 3 analyzes rural education and status of economy development in Yong Chuan and makes some conclusions that the structure of rural education becomes more reasonable and educational resources are more sufficient,and that the natural recourses for the construction of countryside economy is relatively insufficient,and construction of the basic facilities for agricultural production goes relatively backward,as well as weakness of economic base of urban and rural areas, obvious difference of city life and rural life,low development of rural economy,and enormous space in the development of rural economy.At the end of this chapter,it has pointed out there is a feasibility for the coordinate development of rural education and rural economy at county level.Chapter 4 concerns the analysis of coordination of rural education and economy.In this chapter,three-pole structure model has been constructed for coordinate development between rural education and economy.The thesis employs the method of empirical research and econometric means to investigate the contribution to the rural economic growth of rural education in Yong Chuan and indicates the uncoordinated factor in the development of rural education and economy from the view of rural education.Chapter 5 puts forward some suggestions on policies to the uncoordinated factor in the development of rural education and economy.The research,with the method of combining the theory and practice,quantity and quality,tries to find a feasible way to promote the rural economic development of rural education,to solve the issue in agriculture,countryside and farmers,and to achieve the all-round development of our economy and strategic objective of the social stability.Moreover,from the aspects of economics,the thesis may offer some reference basis to the decision department of reforming for rural educational reform.On aspects of theory,practice and method,this research not only has some directive significance to the rural educational development of Yong Chuan,but also has broad application prospects in improving the quality of rural laborer in an all-round way and promoting the sustainable development of regional economics and society.
