The athlete exchange is an important component in CBA, also a kind of phenomenon which the professional league distinguishes with other causes. Its essence is more reasonable and optimized disposition of human resources. In view of the above point, this paper conducts the study of the athlete exchange in CBA.This article carries on the analysis of athlete exchange in every season by methods of literature, interviews, the mathematical statistics and the logical analysis, summarizing its present situation as well as its positive role in league tournaments. It discovers issues in athlete exchanges analyzes its reason, and puts forward the feasible proposal.According to the findings, the conclusion draws as follows:1.CBA athlete exchange is still at the fumble stage, not yet forming the complete introduction mechanism. It should be acknowledged that the athlete exchange brings the league tournament positive influence, but at the same time it must be realized that there exist many questions in this process and big disparity compared to the corresponding mechanism in successful league tournament.2. The short-term domestic exchange is relatively active, but the long-term exchange at a quite flat condition. After a series of reform in short-time exchange, new problems emerge unceasingly, which need to be solved as soon as possible. As for the long-term exchange, there still exists a series of lawsuits or disputes and the total number of exchanges is still quite few, basically without main forces. It continues the fairly flat condition.3. The foreign exchange is quite active, particularly foreign athlete's introduction. The population of Chinese basketball athletes who go abroad to play basketball are very few. They all have rough experience. At present foreign athletes take lead in CBA foreign exchange, until now they have already experienced two electing stages. But many questions still exist such as they are hard to manage, affect the CBA order, and have big fluidity, American athletes in the majority. The CBA foreign exchange is insufficiently mature Compared to perfect foreign athletes'introduction mechanism in the NBA. 4. The exchange with Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan has not formed a scale, still at a scattered condition. Few of their athletes come to the CBA. Considering the long-term development of CBA, the exchange with them is still a primary position.5. In current period the basketball human resources are limited. China has not formed mature society system to train athletes. The above is the most basic factor which leads to the current inactive basketball athletes'exchange, also the direction that hard work should be focused on in the future.In view of the findings, countermeasures are proposed as follows:In the long-term, the key point is to consummate the ways in training talented reserve persons. Under the organization of Basketball Associations, the well-known network cartel clubs joint contribution to establish basketball schools with characteristics and their athletes belong to all clubs, by this way weakening the training of secondary athletes in clubs gradually. At the same time, without losing any time, CBA should take the present CUBA and the university student basketball super league as the foundation, speeding up steps of combining physics with education. In the educational system the reserve human resources echelon should be formed by taking the university as the main item, the middle school for key, the elementary school for the foundation as soon as possible. The emphasis should be to strengthen the training of young people and expand the training scope, making it become another primary position of reserves. Simultaneously plans and steps should be made to realize the complement and amalgamation between the two ways, thoroughly solving the issue of athlete's ownership.In the short-time, in the view of the actual situation in CBA, the urgent matter is to further consummate the present rules of athlete exchange. The pace of reform should be sped up and the professionalism process should be promoted. A better fluid environment should be provided for the CBA athlete exchange which will infuse the unceasing vigor for league tournament and provide important support for league tournament's sustainable development.
