The Higher Spirit Of Vocational Intechnical Universities Fosters Analysis

The spirit in the vocational and technical colleges is intrinsic qualities which have been gradually accumulating with the development of colleges, and this kind of spirit is a source of the power and life which can achieve sustainable development at colleges. In recent years, the higher vocational education has developed rapidly in China, which has become one of the types of the higher education and taken up the half of the higher learning. In the meanwhile, many contradictions and problems have quickly appeared day by day with the rapid expansion of its related surroundings. How to take the scientific and harmonious development idea as instruction, to take the system of the socialism core value as basis, to take realistic and the characteristic promotion as starting point to cultivate the spirit in colleges and to take the sustainable development as the important topic on the higher educational reform and development in the present situation are the most important educational tasks. Starting with the current development of higher education this paper analyses or cultivates the importance and urgency of higher education. Also, the paper begins with the particularity of the independent education and analyses or refines the spirit and function, and summarizes main problems on the spirit of the higher education. At last, based on the historical mission in higher learning the paper proposes the spirit about higher education should be of some certain spiritual essences and the cultivating ways including paying great attention to the students, raising practical abilities to serve society, cultivating the consciousness of collective cooperation, and developing the spirit of developmental innovation and so on.This paper contains four parts:The first part: mainly states the necessity of the spirit on higher education. Higher education has reformed and developed for 20 years especially in recent 10 years. Based on the historical mission of higher education in socialism modernization this part guides sustainable and healthy development, reflects the characteristics and achieves the goals to cultivate special talented students to construct harmonious campus.The second part: mainly states characteristics and the functions on higher education. Specifically explains many functions such as the professional nature, higher education and the spirit guidance and condensation, molds and restraints, deserts and creation, balance and coordination and so on. The third part: mainly states the current situation and main problems about how to cultivate spirit on higher education. Specifically analyses inside and outside factors from the aspects of cognition, contents, methods, environment, expenditure and society, etc. This part also scientifically observes the current situation and finds out many differences and disparities.The fourth part: mainly states the essential characteristics and the trains of thought to cultivation on higher education especially including paying great attention to the students, raising practical abilities to serve society, cultivating the consciousness of collective cooperation, and developing the spirit of developmental innovation and so on.
