In modern society,parents and society place high hopes on the class teacher,all aspects are paying attention to them,but the actual situation is that the class teacher is also a living person.They have their own emotions,shortcomings and occasionally make mistakes.When they face too much external pressure and have too high self-demand,they seriously exceed their physical load,resulting in psychological imbalance,resulting in job burnout and hindering teaching progress and student development.Researches show that job burnout is widespread.Head teachers' job burnout is usually manifested in four dimensions:personality disintegration,emotional exhaustion,knowledge exhaustion and low sense of achievement.Domestic and foreign academic' research on the job burnout of head teachers,rarely involves primary schools,let alone the job burnout of head teachers in rural primary schools.The thesis consists of five parts,the first part expounds the background of the topic,summarizes the relevant research,research ideas and innovations;Based on the review and summary of existing research results,the second part reveals the definition of the main concepts,the theoretical basis involved and the characteristics of head teachers in rural primary schools;The third part explains the survey design,summarizes the survey and interview results,looking into the current situation of job burnout of rural primary school head teachers in the post epidemic era,and reveals the outstanding problems;The fourth part discusses the causes of job burnout in this group from the perspectives of society,school and head teachers themselves,and looks for the real influencing factors;The fifth part puts forward mitigation countermeasures together with front-line teachers,school leaders and students' parents,such as building and improving the social support system,forming an atmosphere of respecting teachers and valuing education,coordinating teachers' work tasks,and timely guiding the head teacher's psychological problems,so as to rekindle the work enthusiasm of head teachers,and improve the mental health level of rural primary school head teachers on the one hand.On the other hand,improving their class management level is ultimately conducive to the growth and success of students.
