Teaching Strategies Of Stimulating Pupils To Study English Actively And Initiatively

As one of most important information carrier, English is the most widely used language in each field of human life. English educations become the important component of quality education. The education aim of English course in primary school stage is to stimulate students' interesting to study English, train a certain sense of language, well pronunciation and tone, make students be able to use English in daily simple communication. So it is significant for English teacher to change traditional teaching conception, adopt proper teaching strategy which is base on the children's character in new times.This paper summarize and conclude the existing research theories, and also carry on research and discuss the teaching strategies of primary school English in terms of psychology of pupils, put forward strategies to stimulate pupils to study English actively and initiatively. The main content is divided as following four sections:The first section is the introduction, including background, problem of primary school English, aim and significance, relative theories about primary school English teaching.The second section is the character and requirement of primary school English teaching, including the language essence and particularity of foreign language teaching, character of primary school English teaching, aim of primary school English teachingThe third section is the basic meaning of primary school English teaching strategy, including concept of teaching strategy, relation between strategy and relative concept, definition of primary school English teaching strategy, character of primary school English teaching strategy.The fourth section is the teaching strategy to stimulate pupils to study English actively, including using the teaching strategy of goal setting theory, the teaching strategy of affection education in primary school English, the teaching strategy of bringing up student success feeling in learning English, the teaching strategy of interest teaching in primary school English.
