| With the popularization of higher education coming in china, there are many researches focusing on the positioning of higher education institution, and some positive research achievements were got. But these researches mainly concentrate on the researching university and its development issues, there is few research concentrating on the positioning of teaching and researching university (T&R university) ,especially researching in school(department) of T&R University. This paper take the positioning of school(department) in T&R University as researching object, using literature search, investigation, comparing and quantification analytic methods to research, and main works of this paper concluded as the following parts.(1) Literature searching and analyzing systematically. There are many researches on positioning of higher education institution, and some positive research achievements were got. These researches concludes two side, one side is introducing and analyzing classification method of foreign country or Developed country University, the other side is from multiple perspectives to describe theory of positioning. From these researches, we can see there are many theory researches, but little practical research, and some evaluation criteria are complex and fuzzy. This paper profits from the university classification and the positioning method, and applies it in researching the positioning of school (department) of T&R University.(2) Definition of positioning of school (department) of T&R University. the scholars carry many researches on positioning definition, but these definitions are not only short of practice but also describing complex, so this paper generalizes the concepts of positioning of school (department) of T&R University from the reasons of positioning, the expecting result of positioning and how to perform positioning three aspects to conclude definition of positioning of school (department) of T&R University. (3) Constructing of system of positioning of school (department) T&R University. Because there are few systematical research achievements on positioning of higher education institution, no reference can be use. Through the literature analysis, this paper puts forward firstly the principal and basis of positioning, and analyzes the content of positioning, and then the idea that the problem of classification school (department) of T&R University is set forth, the problem of positioning of type is determined. Moreover, this paper analyzes the guidance subject and implementation subject of positioning. Finally, this paper analyzes the internal and external factors that affecting the positioning.(4) Designing the standard of type positioning. Type positioning is the key content of positioning of school (department). On the reference of relevance data of T&R University, the basic standard of type positioning is designed and explained. Because of variance of T&R University, the data of standard is different, this paper puts forwards the data of standard of type positioning should be modified accordance with the real situation.(5) Concluding the supporting measures of type positioning. This paper concludes the supporting measures of type positioning from the following aspects. Firstly, the government and society should provide the policy preference and finance assistance to T&R University. Secondly, the T&R University should support school (department) from policy, checking method, appraise way. Third, school (department) should clear their guiding ideology and enhances the working efficiency.(6) Case-analyzing of XUST. This paper carries on the concentration ratio model to implement research. This paper depends on the reality of XUST, selecting the amount of deputy results, the amount of researching finance assistance, and the number of post-graduation as the basic variable quantity, carries out the case researching with the model of concentration ratio. Determine the type of department of XUST. This paper puts forward some methods to devolve problem of positioning of school (department) of XUST. |
