Researching On The Ideological And Political Education Of The Art Students In University Illustrated By The Case Of Arts Department In Liaoning University

With the development of the higher education in China, colleges and universitiestend to develop popularized and popular pattern instead of the elite pattern. Thus thenumber of universities which begin to open art courses is increasing. It is best not onlyfor promoting the construction of campus culture of the institutions of higher learning,but also for increasing the comprehensive strength and education level. The art collegestudents of comprehensive university as a new group are gradually formed scale, but it’srarely to research on the art college students’ ideological and political education in thetargeted horizontal classification-comprehensive university. Therefore, for thecomprehensive university, it’s a system and challenging job to training the artistic talentswho are both excellent in moral and artistic.The so-called comprehensive art university students refer to students specializing inart in comprehensive colleges. Most of them have neither expertise, nor cultural qualities.They typically lack of knowledge and training, so that they have to survive difficultly inan awkward position. As a result, studying the ideological and political education of suchcollege students will help improve pertinence of the education, enhance the effectiveness,and explore the regularity. According to their thought characteristic of thinking mode,pragmatic thought forms, adult mental quality, it is easy to understand the problems ofweight management light education, heavy form light content and heavy common lightpersonality, existed in the course of ideological and political education. The cause of theproblem is that the attention of leadership, the understanding of teachers to students andthe targeted teaching research are not enough. Therefore, the corresponding approachesand counter measures could be found. Ideological and political course is innovatedthrough compiling the segmented textbooks, making full use of the university advantageto promote the combination of humanistic quality education, ideological and politicaleducation and the study of art. The qualities of eligible English teachers are improved byraising teaching theory standard, training artistic accomplishment of the teachers,improving psychological quality. Students’ practical activities is enhanced throughimplanting ideological and political education into the innovation activities of the art professional practice, enhancing ideological and political education in the social practiceand improving students’ ability to self-education in practical activities. The waysabove-mentioned would improve the ideological and moral cultivation andprofessionalism of the art students in universities effectively, and promote ideologicaland political education of colleges and universities smoothly.
