The compose of school teachers'sex proportion is an important factor in student's growth. To concern the proportion of male teachers in primary school plays an important role on grasping their working quality, improving the quality of themselves and carrying out the full implementation of a "people-oriented" concept. This article reasearches the occupational status and other related factors of the male teachers of primary schools in LiCang District of Qingdao , and give the recommendations and measures on how to improve the professional status of male teachers.The article includes five parts: background and research issues, related literature and research methods, occupational status of male teachers and analysis of the findings, conclusions and countermeasures. Through the study ,the passage have the conclusion that male teachers in primary schools are lack of self-confidence on the status of schools and social,and have higher job satisfaction. The benign factors are the recognition and attention from leaders, good interpersonal skills and the fun of teaching. At the same time, the low level of wages and low social status, work pressure and the tedious work of mechanical factors affecting male teachers.The article suggests that teacher's colleges need to take seriously to student's occupation personality characteristic molding. Primary schools should give proper valuation to the male teacher's achievement, sharpening male teacher's development to improve their status of working.
