The study takes the junior middle school teachers as the research object for that junior middle schools which link the elementary schools with senior high schools play the vital role in popularizing compulsory education, preparing the qualified students for senior high schools and fostering the qualified citizens and elite. For the students, the junior middle school stage is an important period which is crucial for them to increase the knowledge and enhance their moral and psychological quality, and usually called "transition and revolt" stage. It is necessary for teachers to master the higher education skills and pay more painstaking care. Their occupation life exerts great influence on the quality of students. Some research indicated that the junior middle school teachers bear the heaviest pressure, therefore choosing junior middle school teachers as the research object has the very strong practical significance.By selecting five schools as the research object, the study has thoroughly studies each aspect of their occupational career, including income, work situation, teacher psychological feelings and so on. The research method is interview and investigation. The author discovers that the junior middle school teachers' occupation living condition is worrying. Their income is low, only maintaining the low living standard, especially for the countryside junior middle school teachers, whose incomes could only maintain the normal daily expenditure. The teachers usually work overtime. A statistics indicated that most teachers' working time surpasses 10 hours and the work load is heavy. They have to spend a lot of time in preparing a lesson, teaching, correcting students' homework, dealing with the inspection and so on, which make the teachers exhausted. Moreover, the junior middle school teachers face various stresses in the work. These stresses are from the school' s appraisal system, student management, students' parents as well as the society.
