From the sociological perspective, this study describes the status and influential factors of urban junior high school students' Subjective Well-being,basing on the investigation of 526 students in Wuhan. We hope to supply some materail to the vulgar research of junior high school students'Subjective Well-being. And with the unusual findings, others could have new ideas.The study shows, the urban junior high school students' positive emotion, negative emotion, Subjective Well-being and the satisfaction in everyday life area lie in a higher level, and the negative emotion lies in a lower level; the determinants of Subjective Well-being include sex, grade, judgment of classmates ' Subjective Well-being, the parents' upbringing modes, the influence of"too much homework"and self-esteem. Concretely, the parents' upbringing modes and judgment level of classmates'Subjective Well-being has a positive correlation with students'Subjective Well-being, and the sex, grade, self-esteem and influence of"too much homework"has a negative influence.According to the conclusions, the study tries to explain the junior high school students' satisfaction of family, in order to distinguish whether there is"generation gap"between parents and children. Furthermore, the author gives the reasons for the differences between social comparison theory and the new findings. And for the methodology,we also discuss why should construct the synthetical index"Subjective Well-being"and how to construct it.
