The concept map is a kind of tool to organize and represent knowledge. This research did an experiment to study how the concept mapping strategy influences the senior high school students' achievement from the teaching strategy and learning strategy angles. This research chose to use concept mapping strategy in the chemistry teaching of senior high school.First, the concept map is reviewed, the relevant knowledge is sorted out, and analysis of the concept map in teaching role. After the concept map is introduced, the teaching process can not only to promote student learning significance, the columniation between teachers and students, and the exchanges between the students' cooperation, but also to promote teacher-student reflections. Concept map in Chemistry Teaching of subjectivity can promote students' Subjectivity, the enthusiasm of play and cognitive development. As a result, Chemistry Teaching Application concept map has some educational value.Secondly, this research chose two homogeneity senior classes of grade one in Chengxi middle school in Wuxi. The two classes were randomly divided into the experiment class and the control class. The experiment class used concept mapping strategy, and the control class used traditional strategy. This research measured and statistically analyses the achievement of two classes before and after the experimentation. This research used multivariate analysis of variance to analyze the achievement of different achievement level students and different sex students.Thirdly, this research compiled the implement effect questionnaire of concept mapping strategy and investigated in experiment class. Then used these questionnaire results, experiment results, and research interview to analyses and discuss.Finally, from the results, the students' awareness of the concept map can improve. After the increased awareness of the concept map, the uses of concept maps are associated with the academic performance of students. The achievement of experiment class was better than the control class, especially on the memory level, but not on the comprehend level and the application level. Concept mapping strategy didn't have different effect on students of different achievement level. The students of high achievement level and low achievement level didn't have any difference during the experiment.
