Modern sports are a sign of social development and progress of human civilization, the development of modern sports is also a sign of national strength and civilized degree of society embodies.School sports is a important component of modern sports, sports teaching is school sports' important component, therefore, the of quality of sports teaching will have the direct impact to the quality of talented person in the arriving new century. Tradition colleges and universities sports teaching concepts and methods can not adapt to the development of modern colleges and universities sports teaching, therefore, is the only way to change the unreasonable methods of colleges and universities sports teaching and to build up the reasonable methods and lessons that fit for the arriving new century and the education's pattern. So that can fit for the development of colleges and universities sports teaching much better. Health first, quality first and lifelong sports is the guiding ideology of our country colleges and universities sports educational reform, promulgation in 2002 "the whole nation regular institutions of higher learning sports course teaching guides outline ", is the basic and important theory to the educational reform of colleges and universities sports teaching. The purpose of this paper, origin on the basis of the theory, is to discuss the reform of colleges and universities sports curriculum model.The paper formation process has experienced several processes such as looking up document, sending and receiving paper, analysis of document data, discussing to the question and the way to solve, and so on.The receiving process of sample data is using the way of questionnaire inquires, including 13 colleges and universities in 59 colleges and universities in our province as a sample, adopt the different three departed questions to different groups of people, including the leaders to this 13 colleges and universities, the sports teachers and the students, receiving the sample data and analysis in order to find the questions of sports teaching of colleges and universities of our province.According to the indices such as conclusions of the analysis data, the current teaching situation, the teaching resource, the teaching appraising and the teacher and the satisfaction of students and teachers to the sports lesson, we can conclude that: our province sports teaching includes four classes: sports-teaching clubs, two sections of type, three base types and class inside and outside integration. Two sections of type and three base types is the most majority; each facilities and teachers condition of colleges and universities is unequal; the bigger problem appearing among them is: Sports course content interposition is short of a diversification, it is difficult to satisfy a college student's needs; Teaching estimates are too small to reflect the students' real situation. The biggest questions are that space is not enough, funds is not enough and the short of teacher. According to the question, there are the suggestions: Set up "the healthy first", and "lifelong sports "; make up scientific and reasonable sports course target, enrich the courses, let the teaching condition better; perfect mansion facilities; build scientific and equal appraise system; Reinforce the level of teachers; carry out the sports teaching club step by step.This thesis of paper will be the Shanxi Province colleges and universities sports educational reform reference basis, and be going further aiming at making contribution to the reform of Shanxi Province colleges and universities sports.
